Gorse Farm Shop has been selling local and home-grown produce since its establishment in the 1970s by Grandma Anne Vernon. However, since the addition of The Cowshed Butchery in 2019 our little shop has grown considerably! Now under the management of Anne's son David and his wife Lynda the shop employs two full-time skilled butchers which has enabled all of our meat to be hung and butchered traditionally on-site. We particularly pride ourselves on our home-reared Gloucester Old Spot pigs and Aberdeen Angus cattle which are carefully and lovingly cared for by David's daughter, Anna to produce the best quality meat.
